Bioenergy:
We have developed unique LED based Photobioreactor (PBR) solution for cultivating microalgae. The PBR is ideal for producing fine chemicals and bioenergy from microalgal biomass. The PBR has number of advantages, like:
- PBR is capable of Ultra-High bioproductivity from microalgae
- Enclosed LED light source provides efficient lighting
- Increased microalgal flux tolerance by pulsing LEDs
- The PBR can easily be scaled-up for factory usage
- Patent pending technology
Our latest development is a LED lighting system for cultivation of Macroalgae (seaweed seedlings). The LED lighting system is also ideal for cultivation of adult seaweed breeding stock. Vistvaen Orka is currently the only worldwide provider of such a LED lighting system for this application, with features like:
- Adjustable LED light regime, spectrum and intensity
- ECO friendly production of high value products from seaweed, such as food, feed (fodder) or fertilizer
- Ideal for Bioenergy (Biogas, Bioethanol, Biobutanol) generation from seaweed biomass
